Soccer Game Preview: South Miami vs. Braddock

The South Miami Cobras will head out on the road to face off against the Braddock Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

South Miami fell victim to Goleman and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 4-0 to the Gators.

Meanwhile, Braddock hasn't lost a match yet, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. Neither they nor Coral Reef could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Braddock's goal came courtesy of Franco Fernandez, which was the first he's scored this season.

South Miami's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1. With that draw, Braddock's record moves to 7-0-2.

South Miami came up short against Braddock when the teams last played back in December of 2022, falling 3-1. Can South Miami avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
