After a string of six wins, Rice Memorial's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Lyndon Institute Vikings by a score of 3-2. The Green Knights were not able to make up for their defeat to the Vikings from their previous meeting back in April of 2023.

Rice Memorial saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bella Messineo, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.

Rice Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 14-3. As for Lyndon Institute, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

As of now, neither Rice Memorial nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
