Soccer Recap: Northside Comes Up Short

Northside lost against Cave Spring two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings fell just short of the Knights by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that Northside have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Northside and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Cave Spring, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northside will face off against Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northside will be up against Heritage's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.75 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Cave Spring, they will challenge Pulaski County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be Cave Spring's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
