Basketball Recap: Portage Central Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Portage Central Mustangs came up short against the Holt Rams and fell 59-51. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Portage Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Holt, they pushed their record up to 3-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Portage Central won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mott at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Mott will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Portage Central surely won't give up without a fight. As for Holt, they will head out to take on Coldwater at 4:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
