Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mill River). They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Twin Valley Wildcats 43-40. The win was some much needed relief for the Minutemen as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Mill River's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-10. As for Twin Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9.

Mill River will look to defend their home court on Thursday against White River Valley at 7:00 p.m. White River Valley will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Mill River surely won't give up without a fight. As for Twin Valley, they will head out to square off against Arlington Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Arlington Memorial's defense has only allowed 25.7 points per game this season, so Twin Valley's offense will have their work cut out for them.
