Softball Recap: Kimball Jaguars vs. West Wolfpack
Kimball won the last time they faced West and things went their way on Thursday too. The Jaguars blew past the Wolfpack 12-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jaguars.
Alexa Contreras was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. Contreras was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.

In other batting news, Kimball got a big performance out of Karaliya DePerio, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three RBI gave DePerio a new career-high. Madisyn Zamora was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Kimball always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West only posted an OBP of .348.
Kimball's record now sits at 16-9. As for West, their loss was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-18.
