Buckeye Valley is a perfect 10-0 against Columbus Academy since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Barons will head out to face off against the Vikings at 6:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Buckeye Valley sitting on seven straight wins and Columbus Academy on six.

On Wednesday, Buckeye Valley made easy work of Bexley and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Buckeye Valley never let Bexley on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 26-24, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Columbus Academy got the win against Worthington Christian on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.

While Columbus Academy might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Worthington Christian scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22, 25-22.

Buckeye Valley's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Columbus Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.

Buckeye Valley took their win against Columbus Academy when the teams last played on September 2nd by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Barons since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
