Mountain View came into Thursday's match looking for another win against Timpanogos, but Zaxen Downey wouldn't allow it. The Timberwolves skirted past the Bruins 3-2 thanks in part to Downey, who had nine digs, three aces, and one block. Downey is also crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 12 every time he's taken the court this season.

Timpanogos was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 23-25, 22-25, 28-26, 15-13.

Timpanogos picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 7-8. As for Mountain View, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-11.

Timpanogos wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Payson on the 21st. As for Mountain View, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Provo on the 22nd.
