Basketball Recap: Bedford Takes a Loss

Bedford lost against Chestnut Ridge back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bedford Bisons came up short against the Chestnut Ridge Lions, falling 71-48. The Bisons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Bedford lost, don't look at Aj Koontz. Despite the final result, he posted 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Taylor, who put up ten points.

Bedford's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Chestnut Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Bedford and Forest Hills will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Chestnut Ridge will take on Richland in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Richland has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 203 points over their last three games.
