Cathedral Prep is a perfect 10-0 against Fort LeBoeuf since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Ramblers will look to defend their home field against the Bison at 4:30 p.m. Cathedral Prep is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.
While Cathedral Prep's win against General McLane wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Ramblers never let the Lancers get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Ramblers have posted since May 23, 2025.
The result came thanks to Frank Thomas's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up ten Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Cathedral Prep saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Fetzner, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Fort LeBoeuf, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They put the hurt on Warren with a sharp 13-5 victory on Monday. The Bison haven't had any issues with the Dragons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Jackson Lewis was incredible, going 4-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in March of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Dustin Strasser, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Fort LeBoeuf always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .564. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Warren only posted an OBP of .394.
Cathedral Prep's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Fort LeBoeuf, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.
Cathedral Prep got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April against Fort LeBoeuf by a conclusive 14-2 score. Do the Ramblers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bison turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
