Softball Recap: Richmond Falls Short of St. Dominic in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Richmond can now relate to. They came up short against the St. Dominic Saints on Thursday, falling 11-1. That's two games in a row now that the Bobcats have lost by exactly ten runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Richmond and nudges their season record down to 7-10. As for St. Dominic, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Richmond does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Dominic, they will head out to take on North Yarmouth Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Saints surely won't give up without a fight.
