Softball Recap: Largo Lions vs. Crossland Cavaliers
Largo lost against Crossland back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Largo Lions fell victim to a tough 27-8 defeat at the hands of the Crossland Cavaliers.
For Crossland's part, they let Ashlee Roberts and Kayla Ali loose on the outfield. Roberts got on base in all six of her plate appearances with four runs, four RBI, and a double, while Ali got on base in all six of her plate appearances with five RBI and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Sharon Coates, who scored four runs while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances.
Largo's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Crossland, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
