Volleyball Recap: Starmount Comes Up Short

Starmount lost against North Wilkes back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rams lost 3-0 to the Vikings.

Starmount's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-9. As for North Wilkes, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Starmount is set to challenge their familiar foe Wilkes Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, North Wilkes will take on rival Alleghany at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
