Crescent Valley waltzed into their match on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Central Panthers. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 13th, but that streak is no more.

Crescent Valley was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 19-25, 25-15, 25-16.

Niana King paced Crescent Valley's offense, picking up 14 kills. King got some help from Lela Campos and her 41 assists. Campos was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Crescent Valley's victory bumped their record up to 29-2-2. As for Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Crescent Valley nor Central have any future games scheduled.
