Softball Recap: Robbinsdale Armstrong Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Robbinsdale Armstrong had lost four games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 8-13 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Kennedy Eagles 8-2. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

As for Kennedy, their loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-5. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Kennedy's part, Emma Skibbie was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She pitched seven innings while giving up three earned (and five unearned) runs off six hits. Skibbie was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run and one double.

As of now, neither Robbinsdale Armstrong nor Kennedy have any future games scheduled.
