Basketball Game Preview: Morrill Lions vs. Hemingford Bobcats

Morrill is 8-2 against Hemingford since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Lions take on the Bobcats at 3:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Saturday, Morrill ended up a good deal behind Gordon-Rushville and lost 46-30. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Hemingford lost 49-25 to Mitchell on Saturday.

Hemingford's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Morrill, their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.

Morrill came out on top in a nail-biter against Hemingford when the teams last played on Thursday, sneaking past 45-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Morrill since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
