Softball Recap: Berwick Victorious

Berwick came out on top against Wyoming Area on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run second inning. The Bulldogs took their contest against the Warriors 12-7. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Ashlyn Klahold, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and one double. That's the most hits she has posted over her last 11 matches. Kennedy Hunter was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two runs and one stolen base.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Berwick kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 8-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

The victory got Berwick back to even at 10-10. As for Wyoming Area, they dropped their record down to 8-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
