Frankfort won against Robert C. Byrd on Thursday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Falcons put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 15-5 win. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Jaxon Hare spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered five earned runs on nine hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jacob Nething, who went 5-for-6 with three runs, three doubles, and one stolen base. Those five hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Jacobs, who went 3-for-5 with three runs and one RBI.

Frankfort was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive games.

Frankfort pushed their record up to 20-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.8 runs over those games. As for Robert C. Byrd, their loss dropped their record down to 17-11.
