Hallsville came tearing into Friday's contest with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 74-47 win over the Eldon Mustangs. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 22 points or more this season.

Hallsville pushed their record up to 17-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points over those games. As for Eldon, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
