Volleyball Recap: Sydney Bailey and Haley Henry Secure Win for North Branch

On Saturday North Branch's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the South Lyon Lions. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Broncos have posted since August 23rd.

Leading North Branch to victory were Haley Henry and Sydney Bailey. Henry had 20 digs and one assist, while Bailey had nine digs. Those 20 digs gave Henry a new career-high. Kynlee VanHorn also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

North Branch's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for South Lyon, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

North Branch didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against St. Mary Catholic Central on the 6th. As for South Lyon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Adams on the 6th.
