Baseball Recap: Northern Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Northern can now relate to. They fell just short of the Chopticon Braves by a score of 7-6 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Braves: they've now lost five in a row.

Northern's defeat dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Chopticon, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-5.

Northern does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chopticon, they will take on Arundel on Friday. The Braves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season.
