Southlake Carroll hasn't lost a match since January 24th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the V.R. Eaton Eagles a 6-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won 14 matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Southlake Carroll pushed their record up to 16-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four contests. As for V.R. Eaton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southlake Carroll will venture away from home to take on Northwest at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for V.R. Eaton, they will head out on the road to square off against Byron Nelson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
