Morse is a perfect 5-0 against Crawford since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Tigers will challenge the Colts at 4:00 p.m. Neither Morse nor Crawford posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

San Dieguito Academy hit Morse with a five-run third inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Tigers lost 12-2 to the Mustangs. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Tigers have suffered since April 30, 2024.

Beyah Salvador made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Crawford's offense. They came up short against Coronado on Wednesday, falling 12-0. The Colts have struggled against the Islanders recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Crawford's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Morse, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-8.

Everything went Morse's way against Crawford in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Morse made off with a 15-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
