Soccer Recap: Baker Takes a Loss

Baker fell victim to Pike Road and their airtight defense on Saturday. They came up short against the Patriots, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Baker haven't been shut out since back in February.

This is the second loss in a row for Baker and nudges their season record down to 5-5-2. As for Pike Road, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Baker wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 6-0 loss against St. John Paul II on the 5th. As for Pike Road, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Putnam City North on the 5th.
