Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Comanche). They claimed a resounding 54-12 victory over the San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won three matchups by 28 points or more so far this season.
Ladanian Smith had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 98 yards on only nine carries. Fernando Patino also helped out with an impressive 96 receiving yards.
Special teams also played a big role in the game for Comanche, adding 18 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Ct Buford, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
