Baseball Recap: Parma Comes Up Short

Parma came into this matchup off a tough 18-run defeat on Saturday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the New Plymouth Pilgrims by a score of 4-2 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Panthers have suffered against the Pilgrims since March 12, 2021.

Parma saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Silas Kling, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Parma has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for New Plymouth, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-9.
