Lancaster gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They really took it to Medina for the full four quarters, racking up a 70-26 victory at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-13.
Meanwhile, The Park School of Buffalo waltzed into Friday's game with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 73-64 victory over Olmsted.
The Park School of Buffalo's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brandon Singleteary, who scored 22 points. Another player making a difference was Willy Kibowa Jr, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Lancaster's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for The Park School of Buffalo, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
Lancaster strolled past The Park School of Buffalo in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 by a score of 59-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lancaster since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
