Cleveland had won two straight games and Addison Evans did her part to make it three on Wednesday. The Rams put the hurt on the Chapel Hill Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win for which the team can thank Evans, who had seven digs and three aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 18 or more in each of the last 45 games she's played dating back to last season.

Cleveland never let Chapel Hill on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-17, 25-23.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cleveland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sara Shaw, who had 12 digs. Another player making a difference was Emma Lawson, who had eight kills and six digs.

Cleveland's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Chapel Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

Looking ahead, Cleveland will take on South Garner at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chapel Hill, they have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Northern Durham on the 18th.
