Lyons is 9-1 against Hinsdale Central since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Lions will venture away from home to face off against the Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Lyons is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Bolingbrook a 7-0 shutout on Saturday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Lyons considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

Their offense was hitting Bolingbrook from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Aofie Griffin led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Hinsdale Central got the win against Fenwick on Friday by a conclusive 3-0. Considering Hinsdale Central have won five games by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Hinsdale Central has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those nine matches. As for Lyons, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6-1.

Lyons beat Hinsdale Central by a goal in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, winning 1-0. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Red Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
