After four games on the road, New Franklin is heading back home. They will take on the Fayette Falcons at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The pair are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Last Saturday, New Franklin made easy work of Harrisburg and carried off a 52-26 victory.
Even though Fayette has not done well against Marceline recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Fayette was the clear victor by a 57-35 margin over Marceline.
Fayette found their leader in underclassman Browyn Eubanks, who scored 19 points along with 8 rebounds. Addy Gibbs was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 3 steals.
New Franklin now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Fayette, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
New Franklin didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Fayette in their previous meeting on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 54-49 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Fayette's Oakleigh Hill, who scored 20 points along with 3 steals.
