Hollister and Yuba City squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Hollister had to settle for second. They fell 5-1 to the Honkers. The Haybalers' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Braydon Barone was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Hollister's loss dropped their record down to 21-9. As for Yuba City, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 29-5.

Hollister does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Yuba City, they will square off against Lodi at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Flames' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Honkers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
