Volleyball Recap: Fort Recovery Indians vs. Parkway Panthers
Fort Recovery lost against Parkway back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Indians came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16, 25-15.
Cameron Muhlenkamp paced Fort Recovery's offense, picking up nine kills. Muhlenkamp got some help from Kayden Ranly and her 14 assists. Muhlenkamp was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
Parkway found their leader in sophomore KJae Stover, who had seven digs and four aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Stover. Another player making a difference was Hadley Stover, who had eight digs and two assists.
Fort Recovery's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Parkway, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
Looking ahead, Fort Recovery will challenge Celina at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Parkway, they will host Crestview at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
