Softball Recap: Beverly Makes It Nine in a Row at Home

It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Beverly ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Danvers Falcons 8-7. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Beverly pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Danvers, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Coming up, Beverly will challenge Masconomet Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Danvers, they will take on Lowell Catholic at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
