Baseball Recap: Lindbergh's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Lindbergh came into Friday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Foster Bulldogs by a score of 16-11 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-1 back in March.

Lindbergh got a massive performance out of Aaron Melendres-Rodriguez, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave Melendres-Rodriguez a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Soto-Hernandez, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Lindbergh's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Foster, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.
