For the second straight game, Elysian Fields will face off against Carlisle. The Yellowjackets will head out on the road to challenge the Indians at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Elysian Fields knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Carlisle likes a good challenge.

Elysian Fields was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Carlisle on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets' pitcher stepped up to hand the Indians a 15-0 shutout. The Yellowjackets not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 22, 2024.

Taylor Youngblood made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in nine consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
