Football Recap: Kash Herritt Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Delaware Valley

Jersey Shore won the last time they faced Delaware Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Bulldogs walked away with a 49-42 win over the Warriors. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 49-28 by the end of the third, a deficit the Warriors cut but never quite recovered from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jersey Shore to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kash Herritt, who rushed for 142 yards and three TDs on only 12 carries. Another rusher making a difference was Bo Sechrist, who gained 206 total yards and two touchdowns.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Jersey Shore was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 369 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Jersey Shore has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 38.0 points this season. As for Delaware Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jersey Shore will venture away from home to face off against Selinsgrove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Delaware Valley, they will take on Central York at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
