Recap: Grand Junction vs. Basalt
After losing to the Basalt Longhorns the last time they met, the Grand Junction Tigers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Grand Junction came out on top against Basalt by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.
Grand Junction hit Basalt with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Taylor Rothel,
Sedona Czarnecki, and
Micah Morales.
The win got Grand Junction back to even at 1-1-1. As for Basalt, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grand Junction will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Montrose at 5:00 p.m. on March 26th. As for Basalt, they will head out on the road to face off against Steamboat Springs at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
