Foothill had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Sage Hill Lightning. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2021.

The victory didn't come easy: Sage Hill scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-21, 21-25, 25-18.

Foothill's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Sage Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Foothill will be playing in front of their home fans against Trabuco Hills at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sage Hill, they will head out on the road to challenge South at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
