Softball Recap: East Valley Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, East Valley couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Ephrata Tigers on Saturday, falling 17-1. The contest marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

East Valley's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-7. As for Ephrata, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

As of now, neither East Valley nor Ephrata have any future games scheduled.
