Football Recap: Pinson Valley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Pinson Valley lost against Mountain Brook back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Indians fell 39-35 to the Spartans. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cayden Hofbauer continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Mountain Brook, rushing for 159 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries, while also throwing for 137 yards and a pair of TDs. Those 159 rushing yards gave Hofbauer a new career-high. Mountain Brook's leading receiver John Colvin was Hofbauer's top target yet again, picking up 64 receiving yards and two scores.

Pinson Valley now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Mountain Brook, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
