McArthur can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent contest on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Cooper City Cowboys as the McArthur Mustangs made off with a 7-1 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for McArthur.

Tyler Smith and Garvey Person were a major factor while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Smith tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Meanwhile, Person pitched an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits (he also didn't allow any walks). Smith has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't pitched less than five innings in three consecutive pitching appearances. At the plate, Smith went 3-for-4 with a triple, a run, and an RBI, while Person scored two runs while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Isnedit Fernandez was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with a double.

As for Cooper City, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pompano Beach at 5:30 p.m. on April 1st. Pompano Beach's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Cooper City's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
