The Lincoln Trojans will take on the Gulf Breeze Dolphins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

On Thursday, Lincoln earned an 8-4 victory over Bartram Trail. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Tyler Anderson, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024.

Meanwhile, Gulf Breeze was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 9-0 to Pace. Considering the last time the Dolphins couldn't score was back in February, the team can't take the result too hard.

Gulf Breeze saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker Boyd, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Gulf Breeze, their loss dropped their record down to 15-8.

Lincoln might still be hurting after the 8-2 defeat they got from Gulf Breeze when the teams last played back in April of 2022. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
