Somonauk was the 56-40 winner over Hinckley-Big Rock when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Somonauk Bobcats came up short against the Hinckley-Big Rock Royals on Friday, falling 68-42. The Bobcats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Somonauk's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Hinckley-Big Rock, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Somonauk is taking a road trip to face off against Parkview Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Somonauk is facing Parkview Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Parkview Christian Academy is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Hinckley-Big Rock, they will be home for the holidays to greet Rochelle Zell Jewish at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
