Basketball Recap: Oakwood Academy Mustangs vs. St. John Paul II Falcons

Oakwood Academy took a 72-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons on Thursday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
When it comes to explaining why Oakwood Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Will Lewis. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points along with six rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Jones, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Oakwood Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season. As for St. John Paul II, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.
