Baseball Game Preview: Campbellsville Eagles vs. Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees

The Campbellsville Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Campbellsville fell victim to Taylor County and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Meanwhile, Bethlehem posted their closest victory since April 19th on Thursday. They skirted past Holy Cross 7-5.

Bethlehem's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-13. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Campbellsville, their loss dropped their record down to 19-10.

Everything went Campbellsville's way against Bethlehem in their previous matchup back in March, as Campbellsville made off with a 7-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
