The Hawks blew past East Greenwich 3-0 on Thursday thanks in part to Harrington, who had 14 digs and two aces. He has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times he's played.
Bishop Hendricken's got stronger as the match went on, holding East Greenwich to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 25-16.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bishop Hendricken to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jackson Kretzer, who had five digs and three aces.
Meanwhile, North Kingstown entered their tilt with La Salle Academy on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 3-0 victory.
While North Kingstown might've won, it sure wasn't easy: La Salle Academy scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-22, 25-19.
Bishop Hendricken better keep an eye on Stephen Dufour. He was instrumental in North Kingstown's win, getting eight digs and two assists.
North Kingstown's win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Bishop Hendricken, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-0.
