Soccer Recap: University Finishes Even with Lake Buena Vista

For the first time since back in November, University was forced to settle for a draw on Tuesday. They and the Lake Buena Vista Vipers finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. The Cougars had to tread lightly for part of the game as Jorge Ramirez and Luis Rivas were both handed yellow cards, which could explain the final result.

A'Del Zammar was the only thing that stood between University and a shutout considering he scored both of University's goals, bringing his season total up to 12 goals.

With that draw, University's record moves to 8-1-2. As for Lake Buena Vista, they moved theirs to 4-4-2.

University will be home for the holidays to greet Lake Brantley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. University is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.7 goals per game this season. As for Lake Buena Vista, they will venture away from home to face off against Lake Nona at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lake Nona also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 4.3 goals per game.
