Baseball Recap: Naperville North Takes a Loss

After flying high against DeKalb last Monday, Naperville North came back down to earth. The Huskies came up short against the Barbs on Tuesday, falling 11-1. The Huskies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Barbs earlier this season, when they won 10-0.

Naperville North saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zach Bava, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Bava also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Naperville North has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for DeKalb, their record now sits at 12-2-1.

While Naperville North had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
