Braden Ulmer Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Starting off the list is Howe's Braden Ulmer, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Ulmer rushed for 249 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 87-yard run.
Howe's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. Ulmer and Howe will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Gunter at 7:30 p.m. on October 18th.

On Friday, Blue Ridge got the W thanks in part to Micah Dickerson playing the best football he has all season. Dickerson threw for 275 yards and six touchdowns on only 17 passes, and also rushed for 83 yards.

The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 51 yards.
Callisburg had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Thompson it was a similar story. Thompson rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries the last time he and the Wildcats duked it out back in September of 2023.

Another Bells player making an appearance on this list is Jaxon Brown. He picked up 66 receiving yards and a touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 66 yards.
