There's no place like home for St. Dominic, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top against the St. Francis Borgia Knights by a score of 5-1 on Thursday. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

St. Dominic got a great performance from Alex Alsop as he tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Alsop has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Cooper Montgomery was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Anthony Flamm Jr. also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.

St. Dominic's record is now 15-6-1. As for St. Francis Borgia, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-11.

Looking ahead, St. Dominic will square off against Father Tolton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Francis Borgia, they have already played their next game, an 11-6 defeat against Washington on the 2nd.
